Userscript: Ahrefs Copy Keywords
Quickly copy generated keywords and their respective volume from Ahrefs or Semrush keyword generators
Installation
Install userscript manager
- Install a userscript manager, such as Tampermonkey (Chrome | Edge | Firefox).
- Pin the Tampermonkey icon for easy access by clicking the 🧩 puzzle piece icon to the right of the address bar and then the 📌 pin icon next to Tampermonkey.
- For Chrome/Edge, allow userscripts:
- Right-click the Tampermonkey icon and select "Manage extension".
- Enable the "Allow user scripts" option.
- Enable "Developer mode" (shown at top right on Chrome or bottom left on Edge).
- Restart your browser for the new settings to take effect.
Install this userscript
- Open ahrefs-copy-keywords.user.js.
- If this doesn't open in the newly-installed userscript manager, you may need to restart your browser.
- Click "Install", "Update", or "Reinstall", or otherwise follow the instructions in your userscript manager as required.
Usage
To run:
- Go to the Ahrefs or Semrush keyword generator.
- Enter your main keyword and click Find keywords.
- Wait for keywords to be displayed, answering the Captcha if necessary.
- Without selecting any text, press Ctrl+C once the keywords are displayed.
- Note: If you select any text first, the browser's normal copy functionality will be used instead.
- Paste results into Excel or another program.
