Installation
Install userscript manager
- Install a userscript manager, such as Tampermonkey (Chrome | Edge | Firefox).
- Pin the Tampermonkey icon for easy access by clicking the 🧩 puzzle piece icon to the right of the address bar and then the 📌 pin icon next to Tampermonkey.
- For Chrome/Edge, allow userscripts:
- Right-click the Tampermonkey icon and select "Manage extension".
- Enable the "Allow user scripts" option.
- Enable "Developer mode" (shown at top right on Chrome or bottom left on Edge).
- Restart your browser for the new settings to take effect.
Install this userscript
- Open phrase-linguist-plugin.user.js.
- If this doesn't open in the newly-installed userscript manager, you may need to restart your browser.
- Click "Install", "Update", or "Reinstall", or otherwise follow the instructions in your userscript manager as required.
Usage
Once installed, you will automatically see screenshots or other context images pop up in the Phrase CAT editor.
You can move, resize, and minimize the image popup as necessary.
Note: This script replaces the old “Phrase Image on Hover” and “Memsource Image on Hover” scripts. If you already have those script installed in your userscript manager, we recommended uninstalling it first to avoid conflicts.
